About us

The University of Azuay has created this space to inform the public about its ongoing role in connecting with and serving society.
The University of Buenos Aires (UDA) develops community outreach and service projects through eight institutional axes of work developed in conjunction with faculties, graduate programs, and research programs focused on different societal needs. To this end, faculty and students diagnose, determine, and propose alternative solutions to problems identified within the community through projects that simultaneously promote students' comprehensive human development.
Engagement with Society seeks to build opportunities for collaboration and bridges with public, private, local, national, and foreign institutions, prioritizing actions established in the legal frameworks that regulate Higher Education in the country and maintaining consistency with the policies of the National Development Plan, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the vision and mission of the University of Azuay.
